Lagos and London - April 28, 2025: Seplat Energy Plc announces that, following their recent appointments to the Board of NNPC Limited by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Bello Rabiu, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director ("SINED") and Mr. Babs Omotowa, Independent Non-Executive Director ("INED") have notified the Board of their resignations, which take place with immediate effect.

Mr. Udoma Udo Udoma, Chairman of Seplat Energy Plc, said: "On behalf of the Board and the entire Management team, congratulates both Mr. Rabiu and Mr. Omotowa on their well-deserved appointments and thanks them for their immense contribution, strategic drive and wealth of industry experience they brought to the Board.  Seplat Energy wishes them continued success in their new positions."

Combined, these gas facilities augment Seplat Energy's position as a leading supplier of natural gas to the domestic power generation market
