As part of Randstad’s global strategy to expand our footprint in the space of professionals (Bachelor and Master-educated candidates), Randstad Holding nv announces that its subsidiary Yacht Group Nederland BV intends to acquire BMC extending Yacht's leading position in the Dutch professionals segment, by obtaining a number 1 position in the public sector. It is envisaged that BMC will become the center of excellence for the public sector within the combined Dutch Professionals business. The intended acquisition is subject to consultation of the respective works councils and approval from the Netherlands Competition Authority (ACM).
BMC engages in secondment and organizational consultancy for the public sector, with a focus on local government (municipalities). BMC’s professionals business (80% of revenue) focuses on placements, secondment and freelancing services for primarily higher educated public sector professionals. In addition, BMC’s consultancy business engages in consultancy and research projects for the public sector, and operates in the field of executive search, recruitment and HR consultancy.

BMC has over 900 FTEs operating from 3 offices in Amersfoort, The Hague and Veldhoven, and generated revenue of approximately € 102 million in the last 12 months to September 2016.
