Agilyx AS (AGLX) - Agilyx JV partner ExxonMobil announces completion of initial testing of advanced plastic recycling in which Cyclyx is sourcing waste plastic

Oslo, Norway, March 1, 2021 - In December 2020, Agilyx announced the formation
of a Joint Venture with ExxonMobil through which ExxonMobil becomes a partner
with a 25 percent ownership stake in the feed stock management company Cyclyx.
As part of the agreement, Cyclyx is sourcing large volumes of waste plastic to
ExxonMobil's recycling facilities globally.

In a recent press release (https://exxonmobil.co/3bIX31x) ExxonMobil announced
the completion of the initial phase of a plant trial of a proprietary advanced
recycling process to convert plastic waste into raw materials for production of
high-value polymers. The trials are taking place at ExxonMobil's facilities at
Baytown in Texas, and Cyclyx is already sourcing waste plastics to the facility.

ExxonMobil states that it is the intention to use results from the Baytown trial
to scale-up advanced recycling capabilities at other global facilities,
targeting a circular solution for converting difficult-to-recycle plastic waste
into feedstock for virgin-quality plastic.

"We are delighted to see that our partner ExxonMobil is making progress in
establishing their advanced plastics recycling processes, and we are happy to be
part of this through our Cyclyx partnership. We are all working to address the
issue of plastics waste, and it is great that a petrochemical major like
ExxonMobil is fully engaging in advanced recycling," said CEO of Agilyx Tim
Stedman.

About Agilyx
Agilyx (AGLX), is a pioneer in the advanced recycling of difficult-to-recycle
post-use plastic streams. With Agilyx's chemical recycling technology and
intelligent feedstock management system, mixed plastic waste can be converted to
new virgin-equivalent plastics, as well as chemical products and fuels -
creating the opportunity for true circularity. The company has not only
developed these first-to-market products but has also developed a feedstock
management company Cyclyx International, Inc. and is working with many waste
service providers, municipalities, petrochemical, and brand and retail companies
to develop closed-loop advance recycling solutions for mixed waste plastics.
