randstad announces changes to its senior leadership

03/06/2022

Randstad NV, the global leader in the HR services industry, is executing changes to further strengthen its senior leadership team, adding a Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Equity Officer, and a Chief Information Officer.

Randstad is announcing that Myriam Beatove Morale will join the company as of 1 September 2022 as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She comes most recently from Cargill where she served as the CHRO. Myriam has a unique combination of business experience spanning finance, corporate strategy, and HR across all of its disciplines. During her career, she has demonstrated strong strategic thinking as well as rigor in execution.

Randstad is proud to announce that Audra Jenkins will become its Chief Equity Officer as of 1 September 2022. She joined Randstad North America in 2008 and has successfully embedded diversity and inclusion into the business goals of the organization as its Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. In her new role, Audra will help Randstad drive change globally, ensuring we create workforces where differences are not only understood but valued and celebrated.

Randstad is also announcing that Martin de Weerdt will join the company as of 1 August 2022 to assume the newly formed role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Martin comes to Randstad from Accenture where he has led business practices and numerous successful IT transformation projects. He has demonstrated a strong quality focus on the delivery of transformation projects both internally and on behalf of clients.

Today, Randstad also announces that René Steenvoorden, who joined Randstad in 2016 and became an Executive Board member in 2020, will step down from the Executive Board and from his role as Chief Digital Officer on 1 October 2022. He will remain with Randstad as a senior advisor for a further 12 months to ensure a smooth handover and transition of responsibilities before pursuing other opportunities.

“I am truly delighted that Myriam will be joining the Randstad family and I am thrilled that we can make the appointment of Audra as our new Chief Equity Officer. As a business built for and around people, these appointments enable us to focus on creating an environment where our people feel a sense of belonging and therefore are able to deliver the very best for our talent and clients.

I’m excited to welcome Martin to the team to deliver on our IT transformation and I know that his experience and knowledge will see Randstad continue to forge ahead. We are at an exciting inflection point in the world of work, with technology enabling more speed, scale, and agility in matching more people with meaningful roles than ever before.

On behalf of Randstad, I would like to thank René for his years of service to the company and wish him well in the future. Our digital transformation began under his leadership, and we are accelerating fast.”

— Sander van 't Noordende, CEO

“On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank René for his contribution to Randstad and to send a warm welcome to Myriam and Martin. I would also like to congratulate Audra on her appointment.”
