Geneva, 4 August 2026: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air") reports 31.6% year-on-year passenger growth in July 2026.

Wizz Air carried 8.36 million passengers in July, an increase of 31.6% year-on-year, with capacity rising 30.4% to 8.91 million seats. This marks a further acceleration into the summer season from the 27% year-on-year growth in passengers reported for June. The load factor for the month was 93.7%, up 0.9ppts year-over-year.

During the month:

·      A new base at Prishtina, Kosovo, was also announced in the month, with an opening date in November, with one A321neo to be based there. Three new routes will be added, servicing Brussels Charleroi, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Basel-Mulhouse, with the additional aircraft and frequencies expected to add 0.5m seats next year.

·      Wizz Holidays launched. Wizz Air's new holiday platform will allow customers to bundle flights, hand-picked accommodation, and ground transfers.
